Hi, I am Alina
I’m the illustrator and maker behind Dear Map Illustration. I love capturing the world around me in colourful illustrated maps and fun illustrations that I turn into handmade products.
Over the past 10 years I have lived in 5 countries and many different cities, which probably fuelled the urge to illustrate my surroundings and create special memory pieces for myself.
At the moment I live in the Netherlands, so most of my illustrations center around The Hague (my current home of choice) and surrounding Dutch cities and special places.
Have you ever been to the Hague and do you recognize the Pier illustration? I love going to the beach and dreaming about being a cool surfer one day, but for now I’ll focus on being a illustrator!
